About_me
As a product and textile designer, I am inspired by everyday objects, culture and customs all inform my practice and interest for handcraft and geometry.
Research and experimentation into different materials and techniques allows me to create projects, that have a focus on process and sustainable practices.
After finishing my studies in product design in Colombia, I moved to Berlin to study textile and surface design at the Academy of Arts Weißensee. This study was complemented with an Erasmus Exchange at the Chelsea College of Art & Design in London.
In 2017, after a few years working in interior textile design and with the fashion label blaenk in Germany, I founded my own design studio, based wherever I go, often from Berlin and Medellin. My work includes interdisciplinary collaborations, freelance consultancy and design work alongside a constant development of personal projects.
